About Us

In 2004, The Queens Preschool Project was awarded a $2 million National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) grant to study the factors that predict which children develop ADHD. Within our child-friendly laboratory at Queens College, the QCPP staff conducts comprehensive cognitive and behavioral evaluations of preschoolers, and then tracks their development over several years. In addition, parents of children participating in the study will have the advantage of receiving feedback from the evaluations and having consultations with our staff.

The QCPP is located in the Science Building at Queens College of the City University of New York (CUNY). Our 77-acre campus is located in Flushing, NY, five minutes from the Long Island Expressway (LIE), Grand Central Parkway and Van Wyck Expressway. Parking on campus can be easily arranged.
