Olga G. Berwid, M.A., M.Phil.- Graduate Associate

Title : Ms. Berwid is an advanced doctoral candidate in the Neuropsychology Program at CUNY/Queens College.
Education: Ms. Berwid completed her undergraduate education at Boston College in 1994 and received a Master's degree in Psychology at Queens College in February, 2003. Ms. Berwid's Master's thesis, completed with Dr. Halperin's supervision, served as the basis for the recently published article in the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry entitled, “Sustained attention and inhibitory control in preschool children at risk for ADHD.” She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Jeffrey M. Halperin at Queens College and is a graduate associate with the Queens College Preschool Project.
Professional Accomplishments and Interests : Ms. Berwid's main professional interest is to study the development of neurocognitive factors that are thought to underlie Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Ms. Berwis has published in scientific journals on issues relating to neuropsychological functioning and AD/HD. Some of her publications include:
