Chaya Gopin, B.A.- Graduate Associate

Title : Ms. Gopin is a second year doctoral student in the Neuropsychology program at Queens College, CUNY Graduate Center and has been under the mentorship of Jeffrey M. Halperin, Ph.D. for the past year.
Education & Training : She graduated, Suma Cum Laude, from the S. Daniel Abraham Honors Program at Yeshiva University, where she majored in Biology and minored in Psychology. Currently, Ms. Gopin is working on her second year project (master's thesis) at the Queens College Preschool Project. Her research focuses on ADHD and parent-child interactions. In addition to the training that she is receiving at the QCPP, Ms. Gopin will be commencing her psychology externship training during the 2006 year.
Professional Accomplishments and Interests: Ms. Gopin's research and clinical interests include developmental neuropsychology, child psychopathology, and the genetics and treatment of developmental disorders. She was the recipient of several University Fellowships for the 2005-2006 academic year.
