David J. Marks, Ph.D.- Associate Director

Title: Dr. Marks is the Associate Director of the Queens College Preschool Project and a licensed psychologist in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center.   

For the past decade, his clinical and research interests have focused on biological, neuropsychological, and environmental correlates of childhood externalizing disorders and risk and protective factors related to the continuity and desistance of disruptive behavior.   Other areas of research include:

  • Neurocognitive underpinnings of Attention-deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Manifestations of ADHD during the preschool period
  • Comorbidity and differential diagnosis in children and adults with ADHD
  • Development of novel behavioral treatment techniques for children and adults with ADHD
