Evaluation

Selected participants will receive a comprehensive psychological evaluation at no cost and will be compensated for their time and expenses.

1st Year Evaluation

  • Parent & teacher rating scales
  • Parent interview
  • Videotaped parent-child interaction
  • Child developmental history
  • Child-friendly tests to evaluate:
  1. Cognitive function
  2. Language skills
  3. Memory
  4. Attention
  5. Perceptual-motor skills
  6. Inhibitory control
  7. Sensorimotor function
  8. Activity level
  9. Executive functions

Follow-up Evaluations

  • Every six months
    • Brief parent and teacher ratings
  • Every year
    • More detailed parent and teacher ratings
    • Parent interview
    • Parent-child interaction
    • Re-administration of several cognitive tests
