There are many different ways to protect and support pollinators, whether that’s a big pollinator garden or just one flower pot!

Pollinator protectors can do a lot more than just planting!

Don’t spray mosquito yard sprays!

Mosquito yard sprays kill insects indiscriminately. That means they not only kill mosquitoes, but they also kill monarch butterflies, bumble bees, and all kinds of other important pollinators and insects.

And, they aren’t very effective!

Here are some ways you can reduce the number of mosquitoes in your yard without the dangerous sprays.

Naturalist and Author Doug Tallamy recommends using a bucket, some straw or hay and a mosquito dunk.
